Barking Dagenham & Havering

Part of the UK Government’s Local Improvement Finance Trusts (LIFT) initiative, this project includes the development, financing, and long-term maintenance of ten primary healthcare facilities across Barking, Dagenham, and Havering.

Completed between 2005 and 2009, these community-focused buildings deliver a wide range of health and social care services, including GP practices, chiropody, speech and language therapy, community nursing, dental surgery and family planning.

Sustainability

All buildings were constructed to a minimum BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) rating of “Excellent”, promoting energy efficiency, sustainability, and long-term resilience in community healthcare infrastructure.
