The N18 project involves design, build, finance and maintenance services for the extension of the N18 motorway for approximately 27 Km between Groenlo and Enschede in the Netherlands. The project comprises 25 new bridges/structures, including a two-span bridge over the River Berkel and an underpass at the crossing point of the Museum Buurtspoorweg for single track railway line. It includes a number of other bridges and structures (e.g. more than 30 ecological passages) and 44 km of regional roads along the route of the new highway. The project became operational in April 2018 and the availability-based payments will be received until April 2043.

The new road is an asset to the region as it makes it more accessible and reduces the travel time between Groenlo and Enschede by 20 minutes. The road also contributes to safer traffic and the residents of Eibergen, Haaksbergen and Usselo have less inconvenience, as the traffic that previously went through these three villages now by-passes them.
